Sprint 6 Mobile Game

Going into sprint 6 my workflow was less than every other sprint my team has had so far. I took tasks that I'm not used to but with the help of my team they led me in the right direction to get it down. The task was doing UI for unity, something that I have done before but lost knowledge of. The task was creating a shop for the game and the making of it was done in photoshop with the help of my team to create the outline for it. I was using the shapes provided in the software. The only thing was the rectangle shape was not so great, so one of my members told me about the anchors tool to make the corners rounded.
This was the outline of the shop. I created something simple not over complicated and wanted a color that popped for the players' eyes. I choose a purple outline to catch the players eyes and a grey interior to not have colors blend to the purple. The next item that went to it was the creation of the card that will have what the player is going to look for and buy with in-game currency.
I decided to go with colors that go with everything not too bright, not too dark to give it a simple look. The cost and limit will show the players how many purchases they can make until they run out so they can purchase something else in game.
After getting all of the cards lined up I started putting the name of each card and what stat that they are boosting in game after purchase. For the icons I downloaded them off the internet with a transparent background so that the yellowish color shows with the icon and not a white background with a picture. The shop is still being updated. I'm going to put a description on what the boost does so that the player wouldn’t guess what it does, they can just read and decide if they want it or not. Once I got everything done it was time for audio for the buy button. I was confused on how to turn the sprite into a button and with the help of the team I was able to turn it into a button, and search a video to help make a script for the audio that is for free use for our game. The audio was for the buy button so when players click it a money sound will play so it feels like they are purchasing something in game. Another addition to the game was background music so that when people play they aren’t playing in silence also free use so that the game doesn’t get copyright striked or us being sued because of no credit shown to the owner.
Last addition to this sprint was once the player clicks the shop button a bell sound will play, making the player feel like they walked into it. Going into the final sprint I am going to put more sounds that I found for the game. One of the sounds will be when the player clicks any button they will hear a sound each time to make it feel like a mobile game. Another one will be if the player succeeds in training they will get a sound that sounds like they have been rewarded and a failure sound letting them know they didn’t get what they wanted. I’m going to work a lot with the programmer to help plug in the work that I did so I don’t mess with coding and not getting this game released in time.
